Design you slides properly
Here, you are about to learn some useful tips to design your slides properly because as we have said many times before, images and slides are the most important part of your public speaking and have effect on your audience.
1- How to add animation?
Video Script:
In this part, we are going to learn how to add animations to our slides and have such moves in our texts.
Well… Let’s go back to the work space and press Ctrl+M to make a new slide then add my title and some bullets, below.
But the problem is that when I preview my slides, all my 3 bullets are shown together, but I want them to be shown one by one.
To do that I click on the text box and then animation.
I recommend you to choose the (appear) slide.
Now you can see that my bullets are shown one by one as I preview my slide.
A Common mistake everybody committee is that they use bullet even for the title which I don’t really recommend.
If you want to remove the bullet and the animation applied on your title, then you just have to go to animation in the ribbon and click on animation pane, then find the target animation pane and by right-clicking on it, select the remove option.
Now you can see my title is stable on my slide.
2- Pointless animations
Video Script:
In the last lesson, we learned how to use animation but sometimes you see some purposeless animation with so many strange movements using by some people in their slides.
Remember you should only use the animation if there is a name behind. For example, I showed a picture of color in my slides during my seminar about Persuasion saying that color is bad for you by writing this sentence “people buy on emotion and justify with Logic” and at the end, I applied this animation on purpose to turn my sentence to “people buy on emotion and justify”
Not only this slide doesn’t have to be crazy extra animation but it also can be simple and very effective
3- Soft edge images
Video Script:
One of the interesting features in PowerPoint is the soft edge.
The Effects buttons in PowerPoint give you the ability to add a soft edge or many other effects to pictures and shapes in your presentation.
Let me add a picture of mine here and crop it and put my face here in a 1×1 square.
To find the soft edge feature, right-click on the photo you’re working with and then click on the format tab.
on your right-hand side, you can see some different settings.
By clicking on this icon, something like this would appear in front of you.
Now it’s time to select the soft edge part and resize it to make the edge of your photo, a way softer.
Look. Your photo is square, but if you need to change its style to circle, just go to format tab in the ribbon and click on the crop, then select the crop shape option and choose the circle mode.
Now let’s change the Background here and turn it to black to make my photo, appear more clearly!
Wish you enjoy this incredible feature.
4- Images transparency
Video Script:
In this video, I want to show you how to make images transparent.
Instead of inserting an image let’s start by drawing a shape on the insert tab.
I will grab a heart shape and then I clicked and drag over the slide. Then I add an arrow as well and send it back.
Now I want to transparent the heart to see the arrow behind that. To do that just right click and go to the format shape here in the fill setting you can see the transparency.
You can vary the percentage of transparency from 0 to 100 which means fully transparent.
Let’s try all the sitting on an image as well.
Choose an image from which one you want to change the transparency.
Select a picture with a double click. The picture format is displayed on the right side.
Here, you’re able to change the transparency of the Chosen photo. Based on your talent you can apply lots of different transparency settings on your photo like this.
Another thing that you can do is to go to the picture format and then change the color of the background to make a change to your target photo.
That’s all you must do for transparent seeing your photos or shapes
How to add mock-ups?
Video Script:

Mock-ups are ready to use templates that you can insert your pictures into a redesign images and you can use it as a professional picture.
For example, I’ve added a photo on a PC screen here.
Now we are going to learn how to work with mock-ups.
For this purpose, go to “Www.mockuper.net”
here you can use the style you prefer.
Click on (screenshots and effect) then add a default image and crop it. It then asks you if you want your image to have a reflection or not. And we say yes.
Now click on (done). Look, my photo has immediately added on the PC screen. For the saving process, just click on the green icon on the bottom corner of your screen, and save.
OK now let’s go back to the PowerPoint workplace, and add the new mock-up by clicking on the picture option in the insert tab.
