One way to attract the audience’s attention is to make them notice your slides. You can do that by creating special slides and making them different.

The human brain notices the differences automatically, which we will talk about right now.

Once I was traveling by airplane, the flight attendant knew me and told me that she was attended one of my big seminars and then asked me if I like to be guided to the cockpit, and I actually accepted her opinion willingly.

As I entered the cockpit, I faced so many different bottoms and handles. Then I suddenly wondered if they wanted to give the control of this airplane to me I could not even take off the plane.
But as soon as I learn the right way, I can easily take control of the plane, and all the bottom would be meaningful to me.

Remember that your audience is exactly the same.

First, you have to know your audiences and see what the best ways to instruct them based on their brain properties to help you deliver your instructions in the best possible solution are.

A way to attract audience’s attention

As a speaker, we all need the attention of audiences, and We want their attention to be focused on us.
Let’s start with a question, do you think that your speech would be more attractive than the audience’s cellphones?
To be honest, their cell phone is more interesting than what you’d say.

So you have to be different and remember that we, humans, focus on something more different than others.
Look at this picture, What have you focused on?

Of course, you are paying attention to the running guy in the middle of the page.  Or in this photo, surly you are focusing on the biggest shape.  Now, what about this one?

Of course, you’re paying attention to the red shape, because it’s way more different from others.

And also, in this slide, you are considering the animated shape among all others. So we focus on different motions as well.  What about this one?  Where’s your attention to this picture right now?

For sure, you’re looking at this separated shape because our brain focuses on different distances, as well.

As a total result, you saw that we almost focus on different things, and the important role to gain the audience’s attention is to do what others don’t. It means you have to be different from others.

Now we know the one way to attract the audience’s attention which is using differences in our slides to get noticed. These tricks make the audience excited so they put away their cellphones and pay attention to us.
