How to persuade people, so they get things done for us?
It may have happened to you when you want people to handle your demand faster. You want them to get things done for you, so you need to ask your request correctly.
In this article, I explain how to talk and persuade people. I am not saying you can get things done with these techniques 100% of the time, but it mostly helps. There are a few techniques which I have used, and it worked:
1- Understanding that person’s point of view

Understand the person who tries to get things done for you.
You don’t have to think that he is right and he can do whatever he wants. But you need to understand him. I try to understand he must be tired and a little bit angry when he sees 100 or 200 people all day and deals with them.
2- Try to make concord with them to get things done
We can find something that we have in common. For example, I say: “God bless you, I’m sure you must be tired of dealing with bad-tempered people, but you’re still smiling. You are a perfect person.”
When you tell this to them, they feel sympathized, so they feel much better. Another way is to show them that we know what their problem is. Then we can say: “I hope your higher positions help you with this situation.” It makes them happier, and they will help us faster. It means we made a connection with that staff.

3- Smile and say: “good job”!

Say hi and smile before they get things done for you.
Pay a little more attention to the people who come and go while you sit in an office to get your paper works done. They frown. So you try to smile and say: “good job,” to the person you want to talk to and see how magical this technique is.
Instead of asking him to do something like you are giving an order, say politely: “would you mind…?”
4- Instead of asking requests, ask for their guidance
When you ask them to help and guide you, people want to do the same. No one wants to hear orders. So try to ask for their help politely and kindly then see how fast they get things done for you.
5- Say: “thank you”!
Always say “thank you” even if they didn’t do anything important or you don’t have some serious job for them.

Many people leave when they are finished. say thank you to people who get things done for you.
Once I entered one of our university staff’s office and said: “Hi sir, at this time of the semester, every student comes to you to solve their problems. I just thought I should come and say hi and thank you for what you do for us.”
No one has ever done that before. I made a good relationship with him. So you can even thank people for no reason. See how happy they will become.
6- Say “thank you” after they get things done for you.
Many people leave fast when they are finished. We have to thank the person who helped us so that he helps us more quickly the next time we want to finish your tasks faster.
I used all of these techniques, and it mostly was efficient, so I hope you remember to use them and respect the people who get things done for you.
