Everyone wishes to be a charismatic speaker, and we decided to write an article about it. First, read these articles before we start the new subject:

The importance of being a charismatic speaker
You may think that public speaking is all about its subject, but it’s not true!
A charismatic person can attract the audience no matter what the subject is.
A psychologist named Howard Friedman has done some research about charisma, and he reached some strange results.
First, he prepared a questionnaire to figure out people’s charismatic personality and rank them.
The questions were like:
– Am I in the center of attention at parties?
– Am I full of energy when I do something?

A charismatic speaker can attract the audience’s attention in the worst situation.
The average result was 71%. The research showed how much each of them is attractive and unattractive.
Friedman called this test “Affective Communications” or ACT. The purpose was to see how much people can transfer their feelings.
He chose some of the participants with lower and higher scores and gave them another questionnaire asking: how do you feel right now?
The participants were in a room, and they just came in, so they didn’t have time to talk to each other. The result was that charismatic people affected none-charismatic people. If they were happy, the other group felt delighted too.
Charismatic participants smiled more, had more energy, and expressed their happiness.
In conclusion, willingness and happiness affect others. So people who can’t have eye-contact, sit still and don’t move their hands all the time can’t affect charismatic people.
You can learn the behavior of a charismatic speaker.
Mark Van Vugt, the psychology from Amsterdam University, proved that we can learn the skills of being a charismatic person. He wrote an article that consists of 10 ways to improve personal charisma with a plan he calls: Charismatic Leadership Tactics or CLT.
I was amazed that I have been teaching most of its methods during my teaching time.
Also, this writer has a book called: “Naturally selected: why some people lead, why others follow, and why it matters?” he explains everything about successful people in it.
