Why don’t we get better at talking?
Rhetoric is one of the most critical factors needed for being successful. And the million dollar questions is that why can’t we get better at talking? Why are we weak at rhetoric?
Rhetoric is a skill for communication. But why many people don’t know anything about this crucial ability?
1- It doesn’t matter how terrible or how well they talk.
2- They think it’s not necessary to communicate with people. The truth is our life is in the middle of communications.
3- They are shy
And the most important, we haven’t learned. Sadly, in some countries, no institute or school teaches our kids to know about communication and learn how to talk ideally.
Many people ask how can I talk well while I hadn’t learned at school when I was a child. You have to know that I tried to learn everything and self-studied because I wanted to help people and when it comes to it, comment.
The first condition to be better at talking is having a lot of knowledge, but that’s not enough.
You may know a lot of knowledge and even write a book, it doesn’t mean you can be an excellent public speaker. You may have a proper script but weak at presenting it.
Some people have general information but can’t talk properly? Because they feel others will ridicule and mock them if they do speak.
The solution is to practice as much as we can. We can learn everything by practicing. We have to put ourselves in position. When there is a chance to speak in public or a group, we have to take it and test ourselves. You don’t have to be brave. It is normal to be scared. Fear is not bad, but we have to use it for our benefit.
And finally, I have to say that how much good is it to learn a rhetoric skill in our young age so that we don’t encounter any problem when we grow older and enter society.
