Many voice exercise coaches tell their students that all the voice exercise equipment is in their body, but it is essential to use them. How can you improve your speaking for your public speaking or singing?
It doesn’t matter if it’s for speaking, singing, or even a daily talk, with the right way of learning and practicing, we can have the perfect voice.
Whether you are a singer, public speaker, or even a seller, having a good voice is necessary for each man and woman to be more successful.

Several ways of practicing to improve your speaking voice
1- Breathing method to improve your speaking voice
Before you sleep and after you wake up while you are still in bed, do this practice for five minutes. It helps you to have control over your diaphragmatic breathing. It’s vital to dominate holding your breath for your speech to have a stronger, and prettier voice.

To have a better speaking voice, try to take deep breaths.
1-1- Lie down and put your hands on your diaphragm which is almost below your sternum. Take deep breaths and concentrate on your hand while it goes up and down during the breathing.
1-2- Lie down and exhale slowly. Try to make a sound like “Hes.” You need to do this practice very slowly and steadily.
1-3- See how much it takes to exhale and get the air out of your lungs. It may happen very fast at first, but after some time, you can see it takes longer.
2- Diaphragmatic breathing while you are standing (during the speech or singing)
If your body organs are not relaxed while you are standing, diaphragmatic breathing won’t happen.

2-1- To feel better and have better dominance, do it while you are lying down at first. Put an opened book on your belly (diaphragm sheet) and focus on its ups and downs while you breathe.

2-2- The first time you do this practice lying down and feel comfortable, start doing it in a standing position.
2-3- Remember that your shoulders and chest don’t have to move when you stand and practice this breathing. Only diaphragm and spots around your stomach must be filled and emptied with air. Your body has to relax with no spasm.

3- Open your mouth while you are presenting or singing
When you are not opening your mouth, your voice will be weaker. When you don’t open your mouth thoroughly, there is a smaller space for letting out the sound so we will have a lower voice. Here, your voice won’t have a good reflection and echo. When you completely open your mouth and talk, there is more space for the voice to come out, and your speaking voice will be stronger.

To have a loud speaking voice, you need to open your mouth thoroughly.
3-1- Best way to improve your speaking voice and open your mouth is to use a pen or your finger. Put the pen between your front teeth and start talking. This way, you have to open your mouth more. You can speak in front of a mirror and see how you are doing and find what your weaknesses are.
