Discover your presentation style!
Two speakers can be different even if they both have the same lecture at the same time with the same knowledgeable audience. It depends on what presentation style the speaker has.
I care about the originality of the speaker. I believe every speaker has a presentation style. In this article, I want to say what presentation style is?
The definition
It means how speakers see themselves, the situation and the audience and act on them.
Let me explain it with some examples.
Proud (and famous) speakers:

Presentation style means how the speaker sees the audience and react to them
For example, imagine a speaker who introduces himself as the wisest and smartest person in the world. This way he thinks everyone should listen to him when he’s speaking and the audience is naive enough to believe and accept everything he says!
These kinds of speakers are not very accurate in their presentations and public speaking because of the perception they have about themselves, the audience and the situation. They mostly think they are above everyone else and they speak from a power position. They are always humiliating the audience. You probably hear they say this sentence all the time:
“You don’t even know how to do this, and you call yourselves a …?”
Cooperative speaker:

One presentation style is for cooperative people who wants to help.
Now imagine the speaker thinks of himself as a person who’s learned a lot, but he still needs to learn more. He believes the society hasn’t taught enough knowledge to its people and he thinks he must do so to help people. You probably hear him say:
“if we want our society to grow, we have to try harder and do ….”
Is the presentation style limited to these two factors?
I’m sure you don’t expect me to say yes! These factors include only 1% of the whole style of a speaker. It depends on many other things.
For example, an introvert speaker like Steve Jobs can never act as an agile speaker like Anthony Robins and even if he does act like him, not only it can’t impress the audience but also it will make a fool out of him.
As the same, it’s boring if Anthony Robins walks slowly on the stage and mostly looks at the floor.

Anthony Robins is one of the most popular motivational speakers
What are the uses of presentation style?
As I mentioned before, you won’t mimic other works if you know your own style. You have to know exactly which behaviors are suitable for you and which are not.
Another use is that our behavior as a speaker will be more professional because we have a certain standard for each of our steps and this is exactly what our presentation style is.
We define some limits and points in our presentation style, and we consider everyone so we will know if we can say a specific sentence at this place and this very moment or not?
Our words, actions, behaviors and slogans, jokes and the way we present are part of our presentation style. If we want to be a successful and impressive person in the world, we have to find our style.
How can we find our presentation style?
It’s complicated. It may take years, but with effort and guidance, you can find it eventually.
