Take action on what you have decided.
It doesn’t matter how hard it is and how people think about us. They may ridicule you. But do not pay attention to it and take action.
What matters is that when you don’t take action, negative thoughts won’t leave you alone to prevent you from doing it.
When you are persistent and firmly decide to start doing it, you can overcome all those negative thoughts and feel great at the same time. Not to mention, you will be more experienced. This way, you can do greater things in the future and build your self-confidence.
to start and take action is crucial
Many people manage to do something; they make a schedule and then do not act on it.
When it comes to taking action, they bring excuses.
In this article, I want to teach you a technique which we tried many times. It works.
“five-minute only” technique
Try to do the task only for five minutes.
When you start doing something, even if it is for five minutes, you mostly intend to continue doing it.
The most challenging part is to start, but when you do, you realize it’s not that hard. So you continue doing it.
One of our students says:
We have homework in our classes here. Once my homework was to record video files. I was at work till 4, and then I had to go to university because I am a professor there. When I arrived home, I lied down and closed my eyes for thirty minutes.
Then I told myself to record those files only for five minutes. I brought my stuff and started. First I practiced, and then I said: the video recorder and the papers are here, I have practiced so let’s make more videos now that everything is ready.
Maybe if I didn’t bring the tools, I wouldn’t start at all.
Don’t expect too much from yourself.
When you expect too much from yourself, you work more than your strength, and you get tired after a while. Then you turn into a perfectionist. Then you expect to do the job correctly or not to do it at all.
Doing something is better than not doing it at all.
No matter how good you are, you are not perfect, and you make mistakes.
Nothing can be done without making any mistakes because we are moving forward. You are making progress in writing, technology, learning a language, and accounting so that you become perfect. You weren’t perfect from the beginning.

Always remember your achievements.
Remind yourself of your achievements every day. It makes you more self-confident.
You can make a list of your skills, positive features, and previous victories, read it, and add three more every day.
This way, you can take action on what you decided.
Dilemmas when you take action
Sometimes you face a dilemma. You doubt what to do and how to get on the right path. You don’t know which way to choose.
To solve this problem, write the advantages and disadvantages of your task. Then decide which one you benefit more.
Eliminate your weaknesses
The tasks you don’t take action on and postpone them, are your weaknesses. You don’t start them because you are afraid.
At first, I couldn’t even read from the script in front of other students when I was at school. Then I practiced and practiced to be a public speaker.
Many people don’t start doing something they are afraid of, whereas if we try to work on our weaknesses, we can turn them into our strength.
We don’t take action because we are not in the mood.
Have you ever experienced the situation where you wake up in the morning, and you don’t feel like trying to reach your goals? You tell yourself: I’m not in the mood right now. I promise I’ll do it tomorrow.
It has happened to all of us.
These days, you can attend to 6 steps to go back on track:
You may say I am not in the mood to do my job; how can I exercise?
That’s precisely why you have to exercise. It can be hard at first, but it’ll get easier.
Try to think about what happened these days that made you unhappy? That event made you interpret your mood wrong. Maybe you need to look at things in different ways. Do you always understand situations and events negatively?
If you see the negative parts, you feel you don’t have enough energy.
3- Be alone and think
Try to be alone sometimes, and review your goals. If you have a beautiful perspective, you gain more energy to reach it.
4- Write ten things you have and be grateful for them
Psychology researches show that one of the most effective actions to be positive is to be grateful for what you have. Be thankful for the simplest things that everyone has, such as having legs and hands, being healthy, etc.
5- Write three small actions and try to do them
You don’t need to take action in huge decisions. Write three small tasks. When you attended to them, tick them. Small steps, like calling a dear old friend make you happy.
6- Help others
When you help others and make them happy, you will be satisfied and refreshed. This way, you realize how useful you are.
